Athletics takes place during the 1st and 4th terms. Our
first meeting, Sports Day, is held early in the year to
identify and encourage potential athletes. This is a
colourful event of rivalry between the two houses,
Arnott and Daly.
The athletics team trains in
the summer under the watchful eye of the coaches.
Youngsters who perform well, progress from having been
chosen to represent the Camdeboo team, to the next level
of selection, the Karoo and then the Sarah Baartman
team. The final round of trials is for the selection of
a team to represent the Eastern Cape at the National
Inter Provincial meeting held each year.
