This weekend saw a thrilling set of hockey matches between the St Michael’s School for Girls and Union High School, Graaff-Reinet being played on Saturday, 27 May, at the Union High School AstroTurf.
The match between the two schoolsβ 1st teams, saw the Union side dominate the game from start to finish. The team demonstrated their skill and teamwork as they scored 3 fantastic goals, securing a well-deserved 3-0 victory.

Meanwhile, Unionβs u/16A team enjoyed a tight match and managed to secure a 1-0 win. The team demonstrated exemplary sportsmanship and worked tirelessly to win, holding off their opponents to earn a valuable victory.
Despite a valiant effort, Unionβs u/14A team had a tough match and lost 3-0. The team showed admirable resilience and determination, but could not turn their efforts into a win.
