Some of Union High School, Graaff-Reinet’s Grade 12 were recently treated to an evening out with the doyen of African storytelling, Rob Caskie.
𝘋𝘶𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘴𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨, 𝘩𝘦 𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘩𝘳𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘮 𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘵𝘢𝘭𝘦𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘚𝘪𝘳 𝘌𝘳𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘵 𝘚𝘩𝘢𝘤𝘬𝘭𝘦𝘵𝘰𝘯’𝘴 𝘛𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘴 𝘈𝘯𝘵𝘢𝘳𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘤 𝘌𝘹𝘱𝘦𝘥𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯, 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘶𝘭𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘨𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘴𝘵 𝘧𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘱, 𝘴𝘶𝘳𝘷𝘪𝘷𝘢𝘭 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘤𝘶𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘭𝘢𝘴𝘵 𝘤𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘺.
The Grade 12s learned much about the art of storytelling, leadership and the incredible journey that Shackleton endured.
