This tournament forms part of the u/12 talent identifications process in aid of identifying talent for the 2024 u/13 Craven Week side.

Today, Monday, 14 August, sawย Union High School, Graaff-Reinetโ€™s talented orators travel to Somerset East to participate againstย Gill College, School of Excellence.

The Union learnersโ€™ remarkable ability to captivate the audience with their eloquence and persuasive skills impressed the panel of judges, securing them the top positions in both the prepared and unprepared sections of the competition.

Joy Merifield secured first place in the unprepared speech section, while Sobuhle Nyambali showcased exceptional talent to secure the second place.
