Saturday was a day filled with both challenges and expert guidance, led by the experienced engineering maestros, Gustav Weich and Chris Schmidt. Divided into teams of three, the learners delved into the fascinating world of bridge design, expanding their knowledge and even learning about famous local bridges along the way.
Sunday morning brought the ultimate test for the bridges created. It was an exhilarating showdown, filled with anticipation.
Well done to the winners of this competition: Josh Neill, Sarah Wilmot and Emihle Wolfkop! Their bridge astonished everyone by holding an impressive 14 kilograms!
This camp went far beyond the excitement of building bridges; it provided an opportunity for the learners to explore, learn and bond together. In addition to gaining valuable knowledge, they formed new friendships that will undoubtedly continue to flourish.
