This past Friday morning, Union High School, Graaff-Reinet‘s Accounting learners had the opportunity to gain valuable insights into the world of accountancy from Ralie Blignaut, auditor at Gerber, Botha & Gowar Chartered Accountants.
𝙍𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙚 𝙜𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙨𝙡𝙮 𝙩𝙤𝙤𝙠 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙩𝙞𝙢𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙫𝙞𝙨𝙞𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙨𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙡 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙨𝙥𝙚𝙖𝙠 𝙩𝙤 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙣𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝙖𝙗𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙥𝙪𝙧𝙨𝙪𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖 𝙘𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙚𝙧 𝙞𝙣 𝙖𝙘𝙘𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙮.
Not only did she provide valuable information about the profession, but she also shared her experiences attending the recent #Xerocon conference in Sydney, Australia. The learners were thrilled to hear about the conference and the exciting developments in the field of accountancy discussed there.
To show her appreciation for the warm welcome she received, 𝗥𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗮 𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱𝗶𝗲 𝗯𝗮𝗴. These goodie bags were filled with exciting Xerocon and Gerber, Botha & Gowar (GBG) merchandise, truly making it a memorable visit for everyone involved.
The learners were grateful for Ralie’s visit and the insightful talk she delivered. Her engaging presentation and the gifts provided additional motivation and excitement for those considering a future in accountancy.
