Unionโs bevy of aspiring thespians have been working tirelessly since the start of the year to produce this upcoming musical and with the show less than a month away, rehearsals have kicked into high gear to prepare for opening night.
โGoinโ courtingโ has never been as much fun as in this rip-roaring stage version of the popular MGM movie. Millie โ played by Caytah-Leigh Koeberg โ is a young bride living in the 1850s Oregon wilderness whose plan to civilize and marry off her six rowdy brothers-in-law to ensure the success of her own marriage to Adam โ played by Finn Cilliers โ backfires when the brothers, in their enthusiasm, kidnap six women from a neighbouring town to be their brides.

The production will be staged in the Union High School hall on Thursday and Friday, 11 and 12 April, at 18:30. ๐ง๐ถ๐ฐ๐ธ๐ฒ๐๐ ๐๐ถ๐น๐น ๐ฏ๐ฒ ๐ฎ๐๐ฎ๐ถ๐น๐ฎ๐ฏ๐น๐ฒ from the Union High School foyer in Donkin Street as of Wednesday, 13 March, at R60 for adults and R30 for scholars.
