On 12 June, Union High School, Graaff-Reinet’s primary department hosted a spectacular music evening, themed “𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗺𝗮𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲”.
The school hall was a sight to behold, thanks to the meticulous decorations by dedicated Union moms Amori van Jaarsveld and Karen Scott. 𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘪𝘳 𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘥 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘬 𝘤𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘢 𝘧𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘢𝘵𝘮𝘰𝘴𝘱𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘧𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘭𝘺 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘱𝘭𝘦𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨’𝘴 𝘮𝘶𝘴𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘭 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘨𝘳𝘢𝘮𝘮𝘦.
From the first note to the last, the vocalists, pianists, choristers and percussionists enthralled the audience with beautiful Christmas carols. The familiar melodies, imbued with the spirit of the season, brought warmth and joy to everyone present.
