On Saturday, 13 July, Union High School, Graaff-Reinet’s junior sports teams competed against their Woodridge counterparts in an intense series of matches.
𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗵𝗼𝗰𝗸𝗲𝘆 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺𝘀 𝗽𝘂𝘁 𝘂𝗽 𝗮 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲, with the u/13C team battling to a 1-1 draw against Woodridge’s u/11A side.
The u/13B team faced a tough challenge and ended up losing 0-1, while on a brighter note, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘂/𝟭𝟯𝗔 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗱 𝘃𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗮 𝟭-𝟬 𝘄𝗶𝗻.
In contrast, the rugby teams had a more challenging day, as both the u/13 A and B sides experienced defeats in their respective matches.
