๐๐ก๐ง๐๐ฅ๐ฆ๐๐๐ข๐ข๐๐ฆ is more than just an annual event; itโs a tapestry woven with deep emotions, fierce competition and unforgettable memories. Every year, this special occasion seems to draw out the very best and, at times, the worst in us. But this duality is not something to be feared or resented – it’s reflection of our deep passion and unwavering commitment to our children. We cheer with all our might when they excel and we feel every stumble as if it were our own.
The intensity of our emotions during Interschools stems from a place of love, pride and an earnest desire to see our children succeed. Itโs in these moments that our true selves are revealed, for better or for worse. We find ourselves in the joyous highs of victory, but also in the quiet moments of reflection after a loss.
This ebb and flow of emotions is not new. Interschools has always been this way – ๐ ๐ข๐๐๐ง๐ค๐๐ค๐จ๐ข ๐ค๐ ๐ก๐๐๐ ๐ฌ๐๐๐ง๐ ๐ฉ๐ง๐๐ช๐ข๐ฅ๐ ๐๐ฃ๐ ๐๐๐จ๐๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ค๐๐ฃ๐ฉ๐ข๐๐ฃ๐ฉ ๐ฌ๐๐ก๐ ๐๐๐ฃ๐ ๐๐ฃ ๐๐๐ฃ๐.

Congratulations to the first team on their impressive 6-2 victory! This match was undoubtedly one of the most challenging and physical encounters we have faced this year. St Michaels proved to be very physical and fit ,maintaining relentless pressure throughout the game. Our players had to dig deep and perform with immense determination, which they did.
During the first two chukkas, we dominated the game, scoring goals that alleviated the scoreboard pressure. Our defense was robust, winning every 50/50 ball and imposing our presence on our opponents. However, in the second half, we experienced a loss of focus and appeared unfit and slow at times. This is an area we need to address and improve in the coming weeks.
This match was an excellent preparation for the interschools. Special recognition goes to Sarah Jacobs, Leigh-Ann Murray, Kenza Neill, and Aaminah Steele. I am very proud of my team. Thank you, girls, for giving 110 percent at practices and games. Your dedication to the sport is both admirable and greatly appreciated.
