Bright and early this morning, Sunday, 6 October, the Graaff-Reinet Scouts set out to conquer Spandau Kop.
With the sun rising and spirits high, the boys were filled with anticipation as they set out on a journey that would test their mettle.
𝗧𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗯𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗰𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗱 𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲, 𝗲𝗻𝗱𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗱𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁.
A special 𝗦𝗛𝗢𝗨𝗧-𝗢𝗨𝗧 goes to the scouts who took on this challenge, well done to Josh Neill, Eric Wallis, Tristan Hudson, Ryonn Naude, Connor Te Water Naude, Aidan Ferreira and Jordan Maritz.
A 𝗛𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗧𝗙𝗘𝗟𝗧 𝗧𝗛𝗔𝗡𝗞 𝗬𝗢𝗨 is also extended to Jacques Ferreira, the Assistant Troop Scouter, and Tara Ferreira, who accompanied the scouts on this adventure.
